Certification Paths

CDA.Institute offers 44 certification paths organized across the 6 PDM domains, from absolute beginner to mastery.

The structure: - 1 Foundation course (PDM overview, free) - 6 Domain Zero courses (one per domain, free, career-changer friendly) - 36 Domain Certifications (6 levels x 6 domains) - 1 Eagle Standard capstone

Certification levels: M0 Sentry (50 XP): AI-focused introduction. You learn to use AI tools for security tasks in your domain. M1 Operator (100 XP): Fundamentals. You can execute basic tasks under supervision. M2 Analyst (150 XP): Analysis and investigation. You can assess situations and make recommendations. M3 Engineer (250 XP): Implementation and building. You can design and deploy solutions. M4 Architect (400 XP): Architecture and strategy. You can design security systems and programs. M5 Commander (600 XP): Mastery and leadership. You can lead teams and make strategic decisions.

Each certification illuminates a segment on your Shield visualization. There are 36 segments total (6 domains x 6 levels). The center Eagle illuminates when you achieve Eagle Standard.

Eagle Standard: Complete all six M5 Commander certifications (one per domain). This is the prerequisite for Crew membership. It proves mastery across all six PDM domains. "The Eagle Standard is not purchased. It is earned."
